I want to start with a huge thank you to all from our scaled and shelled friends for taking the time to read this. I have rescued and rehabbed turtles and tortoises for years but this year we are taking it about three steps further and expanding into a full scale reptile rescue. Reptiles all have different needs and requirements and all to often people get these amazing pets and are not properly educated on what they need or just how big they can grow, and trust it - IT'S BIG! We want to provide a place for these amazing animals to come and become healthy once again. We will either eventually place them in vetted and educated homes, or they can live out their days here with us. As an early educator, I would love to ultimately expand this to an educational interaction to foster love for these cold blooded critters!
