Our community is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for a high rise condominium located on Hollywood Beach. Full Time Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to start immediately. ** Candidate must be able to speak and write in English. ** Responsibilities include: • Receive direction from Maintenance Supervisor and Management Office in the overall upkeep and repair of the property. • Make repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, cooling tower, dry wall, and painting. • Ensure all areas are maintained in a professional and clean manner during shift. • Follow all safety and security policies, programs, and procedures. • Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents to management. • Ability to stand for the entire workday. • Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to problem solve. • Ability to withstand temperatures of indoor and outdoor working environments. • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Requirements: • Familiar with the inner workings of a high rise condominium building, hotel or similar building maintenance experience strongly preferred. • Proficiency working with computers, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook). • Verbal and written communications skills in English required. Speaking French and/or Spanish a plus. • Valid Driver License required. • High School diploma, or GED equivalency, is required. • Must be able to pass a background check.
