This is a fun and educational bus tour of Houston's Black history!
You'll learn the history of Black Houstonians from the time of their earliest arrivals up to the present, and visit some of the city's most important Black neighborhoods, institutions, and businesses!
Open to all ages!
Schedule:
10:30 a.m. Tour Meet-up at This Is It Soul Food (including the placing of optional lunch order)
11:00 a.m. Bus Tour Begins
1:30 p.m. Bus Tour Ends (at This Is It Soul Food)
1:30 p.m. Post-Tour Lunch Begins at This Is It Soul Food (optional)
Details:
We will begin and end at the historical This Is It Soul Food restaurant in Third Ward. Join us for an optional post-tour lunch at the restaurant at 1:30 p.m.
Tickets are $30 (without lunch). For those joining us for lunch, you will order at This Is It during our meet-up at 10:30 a.m.
Tour attendees may park in the This Is It parking lot and load the tour bus.
Masks are required and you will be asked to complete a release form before the tour begins.

For your safety, attendance is limited and the tour will be socially distanced.
Please dress comfortably for light walking and appropriately for the weather. Bottled water and light sealed snacks will be provided.
There are no refunds for this tour unless it is cancelled.
