Charlie is a very active Amazon with a large vocabulary (he does not know any vulgarity.) He is very outgoing, and fun to watch and interact with. His feathering is absolutely beautiful and is in perfect feather. He is in perfect health and comes with his DNA papers proving that he is male. We bought Charlie to be a mate for our male Blue Front Amazon. The only reason we are rehoming Charlie is we were told he was female, but after DNA testing it was proven he is male. He is friendly with my wife, but does not care for me at all. He does not like to be held or handled. He enjoys his out of cage time and will stay on his perch playing with his toys for hours. He should be considered not to be hand tame as this time, because his attitude will change suddenly from being very laid back to aggressive. We have been working with him regularly to tame him down. He is much better than he was, but he still needs time and work. He will come around, but it is just going to take some time. We are open to trades for a female Blue Front Amazon 15 years old, or younger. (must have DNA papers to prove gender) We are open to trades for other parrots such as an Eclectus, Cockatoo, and Macaws, etc. They do not have to be hand tame.
