We have 2 positions open. Hiring Immediately. In Hatfield. Please share! PROGRAM ASSISTANT- for a home-based program dedicated to a 23-year-old man with autism and other medical diagnoses. Duties would include: -some office type work -some PCA work such as: meal prep, dishes, etc, all relative to program only -occasionally as assistive staff with young man Position offers 20 daytime hours per week with opportunities for more. Pay starts at $15.40/hr. DIRECT STAFF- for 23-year-old man with autism in a home-based program. This is NOT a PCA position, though there are some tasks that are personal care related. Individual must be dependable, personable, and ready to build a positive friendship with him. Duties to include: -Recreational activities such as biking, kayaking, scootering etc. -Assistance with vocational recycling program -Volunteer opportunities with young man -Implement some academic programs such as a reading program, independent worksheets etc. -Assist with behavioral interventions both physical and non -Be willing to adapt to this role including using iPad programs for communication -Autism experience a plus, but willing to train the right individual There are 25-30 day/evening/weekend hours available at a starting rate of $20/hr. **Applicants MUST be non-smokers (allergies) and have a license and vehicle to get to and from work. **Home is sanitized due to COVID and individuals compromised immune system.
