COLOSSAL STREET JAM @Village Brewing Company COLOSSAL STREET JAM will perform a LIVE dinner show on Friday, June 11, 2021, from 7-10PM under our HUGE NEW OUTDOOR HEATED TENT - Social distancing guidelines will apply & masks are a must! All guests will be seated at tables – there is no standing room. You are welcomed to dance and have a great time at your table. If you are standing, dancing, or moving around, masks are required. Be sure not to miss our outdoor space and this awesome night of music, house-brewed beer, great food and good times! About the Band: Mix the gritty, soulful vocals of Gene Potts with the guitar fire of Sal Marra, the pulsing bass of Anthony Flora, the war-hammer drums of Dave Halpern and the one man festival that is Eric Safka on keys, and you get Colossal Street Jam. CSJ has shared the stage with many great artists throughout their career including: Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad, Robbie Krieger of The Doors, Kings X, Stone Temple Pilots, Rival Sons, Blackberry Smoke, The Drive-by Truckers, The Hold Steady, Gov’t Mule, Johnny Winter, Sebastian Bach, Bruce Dickinson, Screamin Cheetah Wheelies, Ritchie Blackmore, Steve Morse, Zebra, Deep Purple, Leslie West, Clarence Clemons and many more. Colossal Street Jam is a 5-piece band based out of Red Bank, NJ that plays a 70’s style brand of infectious and melodic rock and roll. Colossal Street Jam’s November 2016 release “Living Free’ garnered critical acclaim and has been featured in many music magazines worldwide and the single “Songbird” continues to get extensive radio play both locally and globally. In January of 2018, “Living Free” won the Australian Indie Album of the Year award for internet radio and remained on the Indie charts in Australia for 6 months. CSJ’s “Just Take Hold” was released in November of 2018 and their single “Just Take Hold” along with their cover of Sugar Loaf’s “Green Eyed Lady” received airplay on both Indie and College radio stations worldwide. In May and December of 2019, Colossal Street Jam had two successful European tours, playing shows in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic the bands 2020 European tour plans of France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany and Belgium were cancelled. In January of 2021 CSJ released the new single “No Way to Live’ which is getting great radio play both locally and overseas. In April of 2021, Colossal Street Jam will release a new 6 song EP with 2 live tracks and also a live concert video. CSJ thrives in the popular Asbury Park, NJ music scene and has a strong dedicated fan base, both locally and in Europe. Village Brewing Company has created the LARGEST HEATED OUTDOOR (and yes, it’s actually warm in the tent!) dining and entertainment space in all of New Jersey! Seating opens one hour prior to showtime; the earlier you arrive, the better the seating you will get! WE ARE OFFERING OUR FULL MENU (until 9:30PM), wonderful house brewed beers and full bar for your convenience before, during and after the shows. Seating is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions. First come first served. Come early to reserve your seats! Once the live music has finished, the tent will be open until 2AM for your drinking and music enjoyment! ADMISSION is $10 per person in advance or $15 at the door. Be sure to purchase a ticket so that you are guaranteed a table! We are offering tickets for TABLES (Tables range from 2 tops to 8 tops) – there are no single seats available. Tickets for this event are being sold via Eventbrite. Pre-purchased tickets will have reserved tables. Tables purchased at the door, the night of the show (If available) will be sat behind the reserved tables possibly with an obstructed view. PLEASE NOTE: Those with reserved tables… your table will be held for 1 hour after the show begins. If you have not checked in, your table could be given to another party. While Village Brewing Company is working under the most difficult of conditions due to the current pandemic. We feel truly grateful that we are able to put on our dinner shows during this time and give our guests, bands and staff a safe, reliable and fun place to go for entertainment, food and drink. We have put together a unique opportunity for everyone to come out and see live music. We are doing everything we can to give you the best possible safe music experience. Due to the New Jersey and the CDC’s current guidelines, we are pre-selling tables and pre-setting up the room for each show based on the tables that have been pre-sold. The staff at VBC is doing everything in our power to set up the room to the best of our ability for everyone to have the best experience possible! We apologize if your seating is not exactly where you expected. As a result, if you are displeased with your table location when you arrive, we will gladly refund your ticket and offer the table to another party. Seating is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions.
