Help an older gentleman organize tools in his garage, prep a garden for planting, and help with general yard upkeep Volunteer numbers for this project are based on adults and children ages 11 and older. Younger children are encouraged to attend with their parents but registration is NOT needed for any child 10 and under. What sort of work will I be doing? CLEANING: Organize garage/tools so that he can get truck into garage, clear gutters, powerwash siding LANDSCAPING: Use auger to drill 30 holes about 18 inches deep for garden planting, roto-till another section of the garden, general yard cleanup, weeding some landscaping near the house, move tree-trunk pieces out of middle of the yard PAINTING/REPAIR: Paint a work bench and repair the top with new wood planking (if available) VOLUNTEERS SHOULD BRING: Gardening/work gloves.Loppers ShearsFor fixing the workbench top: hand tools such as hammer, measuring tape, etcpower drillcircular saw
