Box Assembler – Box Assembler openings for a top national retailer inside a warehouse in Chicago IL. Other duties include general clean up of work area, sweeping floors, disposing of trash / debris, etc. Protective footwear is required as noted: A leather or puncture resistant top portion and oil resistant, non-skid soles with a heel no taller than 1.5 inches. JOB DESCRIPTION: • Assemble corrugated cardboard bins and drawers by hand • Sort, count, and stack boxes/bins/drawers on pallets • Use Zip Ties to adhere boxes to metal shelving • Use a wire cutter or pliers to cut zip ties • Use a step ladder • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Ability to meet set daily quotas set by the Company • Ability to lift cases of boxes as they are loaded and off-loaded from designated pallets into the assembly area • Able to stand, kneel, bend and stoop for long periods of time • Ability to climb stairs • Have a good attitude • Follow directions • Be on time and dependable $19 per hour Sunday - Thursday - You pick your own shifts.
