We adopted Dre when he was about 8 or 9 months old and we have had him for the last 4 years. Through out the 4 years that we have had him we have had 2 kids. With all of the change we have encountered we think it would be best to try and find Dre a new forever home. Since we adopted him from the pet shelter, we really don't want to send him back, instead we would like to find a loving family that has time for this sweet guy. I am allergic, so he is an outside dog, but he loves going on walks and playing fetch! He is really good with kids and keeps his distance. He does dig a bit but I believe if we had the time to take him on walks this wouldn't be such an issue. He listens well, very protective and has a mean sounding bark if you are looking for protection. ( He only sounds mean, he has never hurt anyone). We have reason to believe that when he was a pup he had a rough life. When we first adopted him he would flinch if we raised our voice or told him no. He would also eat incredibly fast and would eat random objects. He has gotten over a lot of these things but I feel that if he is to be adopted that these old behaviors may resurface.
