You will be working with different chemicals, powders, oils, and resins, so the use of a respirator is required for safety. ******************************************************************* 3rd Shift: Monday 3:00pm – 5:30am / Tuesday & Wednesday 4:00pm – 5:30am Location: 43rd Ave and Van Buren ******************************************************************** SPECIFIC DUTIES: - Practices, encourages, and contributes to continual improvement in Operations, Safety and Environmental compliance. - Follows Safety, Environmental and Quality operating practices, procedures and regulations and ensures the report of any abnormal incident to the Chemical – Lead or Production Manager which may affect plant operation or safety. - Accountable for the assigned work station and functions independently, in limited specific process, to accomplish the assigned production. Asks for guidance to solve problems and questions about SOP or processes being used at the work station. - Ensures production processes are carried out and recorded as required by process directions. - Must be capable of making minor equipment repairs, adjustments, and demonstrating proper operation of all equipment involved in the process area to which he is assigned and for which he is responsible. Must know the SOPs for the area and processes to which he is assigned. - Reviews and signs the completed batch record. “Sign offs” attest to having correctly completed process steps and properly completed process record. Will ensure the plotting and reporting of SPC data as directed or instructed by the Chemical Lead or Production Manager. Ensures finished packaged product is properly labeled and its QC status clearly observable and reported as Ok to move. - Inspects all equipment in assigned work station ensuring it is clean, operating properly and idle equipment is properly secured. - Responsible to ensure that the work station is clean, safe, and any potential for batch contamination has been removed and stored appropriately. - Assures required raw materials for products to be manufactured are on site and meet Quality requirements. - Ensures that all equipment is in working order and for making minor repair or adjustments as has been done in past practice. - Completes all paper work related to his assignment and production. - Carries out assignments associated with any special project. - Must be able to bend, twist, stoop and lift up to 70 pounds as well as push and pull 100 to 300 pounds and roll up to 500 pounds. *************************************************************************** REQUIREMENTS: - 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment - High school diploma - Basic computer skills PLEASE SEND YOUR RESUME!
