Phoenix Precast Products located in North Phoenix is looking for a seasoned Maintenance Technician to join our team. Are you a Maintenance Technician looking for a home? Duties and Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician include but are not limited to: Maintains the safety and functionality of machines, equipment, building and grounds to ensure efficient production of products. Removes and installs electric, hydraulic and pneumatic machine components to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment. Troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems to determine causes of machine failure and recommends solutions for repair. Collaborates closely with Process Technicians to understand the nature of machine failures or component fabrication needs. Designs, fabricates and welds machine components or fixtures to ensure the proper functionality of facility equipment. Records the details of machine malfunctions and the appropriate adjustments as required. Conducts test runs of machine adjustments to ensure proper machine functionality and alignment with quality standards. Performs routine analysis and calculations, and recommends changes in equipment, products or test methods. Maintains the cleanliness, functionality and safety of maintenance equipment, tools and work areas. Repairs building and grounds equipment, fixtures and tools as necessary to ensure the safety of all employees. Performs preventative maintenance and inspections on facility equipment as scheduled (Preventative Maintenance Tech) Plans, coordinates and communicates daily maintenance tasks based on the highest priority needs and ensures their timely and efficient completion by Maintenance Technicians. Maintains up to date and accurate maintenance data, including records of all maintenance and repair activities conducted, purchase orders for spare/replacement parts and spare parts inventory. Ensures spare part lists are available for all existing equipment and new installations and equipment is consistent and compatible with reliability enhancements. Maintains frequent contact with production staff to ensure proper functioning of all equipment and the timely completion of previously communicated maintenance needs. Develops and implements standardized maintenance repair techniques and preventative maintenance procedures to ensure the most effective and efficient methods are in use. Plans and schedules preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment functionality and limit machine malfunctions and downtime. Oversees the work of site contractors and ensures adherence to established safety and operations procedures. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: -Preferably 5+ years of experience. -Shows attention to detail, and excellent quality of work. -Team player/works well with others -Can work independently -Dependable/reliable, respectful, and honest. -Have a positive and professional attitude is an absolute must.
