Hands-on: Building with Cob! This unique 2 day workshop will be the ultimate way to reconnect with nature. Feel the mud between your toes! Don't be shy, step right in- we're building with cob! It's a hands-on (and feet-on!) workshop at the Eco Farm in Alachua. Take part in constructing a natural, cob wall and bench. You will learn the techniques- start to finish. Bring a friend and fall in love with our cob cottage while you're here. After a few hours of getting dirty, we'll wash up and prepare a home-cooked, vegetarian meal together on a cow dung fire in a cob oven. Two sessions are available. Weekend 1: APRIL 17 / 18 Weekend 2: MAY 1 / 2 Registration required for each session. Both sessions are 10a - 2p, each day. Vegetarian lunch included. Rain-out dates will be scheduled.
