Explore Richfield Heritage Preserve with Fred Dinkelbach, an avid birder with 40 years of experience! Fred is an active and knowledgeable birder who has seen over 311 species of birds in Ohio. He is one of the leaders for the Cleveland Spring Bird Walks on Sunday mornings. He is the past president of the Kirtland Bird Club and current editor for the Bird Calendar that records Cleveland area sightings and surveys. He also participated in up to half a dozen bird counts and censuses each year! We are fortunate to have him host this spring hike! Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle. A smartphone to view BirdNET (https://birdnet.cornell.edu/) would be handy as you may hear more birds than you can see. This site will help you identify what you hear. If you have access to binoculars please bring them. You may spot this Canda Warbler with a beautiful black necklace that has been spotted at RHP in the past! Spaces are limited and mask-wearing is mandatory.
