Job Description AM Warehouse Lead Metro Produce is a family owned and operated Minnesota company. Since 1986 we’ve been serving the Twin Cities and surrounding areas by distributing fresh, organic and locally sourced fruits and vegetables to local partners. Come join our team! ***General Job Functions*** We are looking for a dedicated and reliable warehouse associate to support our warehouse operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to unloading trucks, inspecting inventory, picking, packing and loading. This position will play a key role in our AM Warehouse team. Schedule will include weekends, holidays and overtime as needed. ***Qualifications/Requirements*** Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and listening skills Able to read and understand English Able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc. Able to work within computer system for scheduling and approving timecards Able to check in product and notify buyer of discrepancies and quality issues Able to identify safety hazards and address them as needed Able to work with a variety of people from drivers to other warehouse and office staff Able to review shipments to confirm quantity, accuracy and condition of items received Recognize different items and put products away in the correct bin locations Able to work in a fast paced environment Flexible and able to shift to different tasks quickly Regular lifting, turning and pivoting. Working on a concrete floor and on your feet for long periods of time. Must be able to work in varying temperatures within the warehouse Able to lift 50 pounds consistently Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping, organizing, moving inventory, throwing garbage, etc. Must be able to pass a physical and drug test Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, hard working and wants to improve at their job.
