Job Description At Solcius, we are changing the way consumers energize their homes by providing clean and affordable solar power. A successful Foreman at Solcius is a problem solver, self-motivated and action oriented thinker. In this position, the Foreman will provide support to the crew lead of the installation team, communicate job status data to the operations management, and ensure the completion of installation of all solar arrays/systems. It is the responsibility of every Foreman to ensure safe work practices for the Solcius installation team. Key Responsibilities Pulling inventory for each installation job Layout and assembly of solar modules / array and mounting hardware Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment Document completion of completed installation Clean up of job site Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety Operate Power tools Communicate professionally with customers Additional duties required as needed Requirements Must have a clean and valid driver's license, and be able to pass a drug test and background check Must be able to lift 50 lbs Ability to work in extreme environments on a roof Must be willing and able to climb ladders and work on a roof for several hours at a time Required to work in all weather conditions, from high heat to cold weather Excellent written and verbal skills Excellent customer service skills Thrive in a team environment Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance required Solar experience a plus Available to work hours that may vary from short days to long days Employees are required to submit to a criminal history check, drug screening and obtain clearance from the state based upon the state requirements.
