Learn how to safely use common household tools like drills, nail guns, and saws.
In this workshop, participants learn basic principles of safely working with hand and power tools, including setting up your working environment for success, using different kinds of clamps, and troubleshooting tricky projects. Everyone will get a chance to practice using a compound miter saw, a circular saw, a nail gun, and a drill to gain experience using these common household tools safely on wood. Safety equipment provided.
This workshop is funded by a generous grant from Neighborhood Allies. Adults and teens are welcome. This event is free (with a $5 deposit, which will be returned to all attendees).
