Wilson Talent Center 2021 Summer Camps - July 14-17 The Wilson Talent Center will be offering summer camps for students entering grades 5-7 in the fall of 2021. These camps provide students the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities in careers such as photography, culinary arts, automotive and sports medicine. Campers will have the option of a full-day or half-day camp. Full day campers will experience two career camps (one in the morning session and a different camp for the afternoon session.) The first week of camps will be held June 14-17. Choose one camp for a half day, running from 8:00am - 11:30am. OR choose two camps for a full day experience from 8:00am - 4:00pm. Students can be dropped off beginning at 7:45am and pick up is promptly at 11:30am for half day and 4:00pm for full day. Cost is $55 for a half-day camp and $110 for a full day. Credit card payment is required at the time of registration. 7:45-8:00 am – Student Drop off and check in 8:00-11:30 am – Attend program choice 11:30 am – Student Pick up for Half Day Campers Full Day Camp Only 11:30 -12:30 – Lunch 12:30-4:00 – Attend second camp choice 4:00 pm – Student pick up June 14-17, 2021 Motorheads Automotive Camp—Campers will learn about basic engine theory, disassembling, reassembling and starting a V8 engine! Digital Arts Camp—Learn how to create digital art. Campers will receive in-depth experience focusing on creative arts in the entertainment industry. Time will be filled with hands-on demonstrations, continuous practice and feedback. Illustrate, design, photograph, sing, play instruments, produce digital music or make a movie! Welding Technology Camp—Campers will learn about the different types of equipment used in welding. They will be introduced to basic MIG welding skills and will create a small project using the skills they learn. Space is limited. Refunds will be issued if cancellation is required due to COVID-19. All COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed to ensure the safety of all campers and staff.
