Theft .... catalytic converters

toyotas hondas and work trucks, right infront of my house on a quiet street someone tryed to cut off my cat, they cut one side off with a quiet tube cutter but ran off with out getting the other side cut, they are 3-4 thousand dollars to replace. the guy at the muffler shop put welds in places so a tubing cutter wont work now, keep a eye out!!! the man at the shop is replacing alot of them from theft right now. have info on this crime ??? please report it, thanks and watch out!
