Lucky Ladd Farms is recruiting a hard-working individual that takes pride in their work and is ready to have some fun on the farm while doing it! RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide general handy-man maintenance and light mechanical repair work around the farm. • Assist with basic animal husbandry related care to the farm’s poultry, livestock, and equine. • Clean, sanitize and maintain order to farm grounds and restroom facilities. Manage basic inventory of supplies. • Operate tractor for wagon rides, tractor train and various other tasks around the farm. Checking tractor(s) for safety and ensuring machinery is functioning properly. • Ensure guests have a fun, family-friendly adventure by taking care of their needs in a timely manner and providing excellent service with a smile. • Learn other positions around the farm so you can provide breaks and lend a hand as needed in the areas of attraction attendants and concessions. • Assist with planting, cultivating, harvesting, and preparing for market, fruits, and vegetables. • Assist with landscaping, mowing, and/or weed eating if needed. • Perform all other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS • If you do not love kids or enjoy working with the public then this is not the job for you. • Ability to work with little or no supervision. • Previous general handyman, painting, and mechanical repair skills preferred. Must be able to work off ladders, scaffolding and lifts. • Previous experience working with livestock and/or equine preferred. • Previous tractor driving or heavy equipment experience preferred. • Ability to perform non housekeeping tasks requiring unskilled levels. • Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time and can bend, stoop, extend oneself etc., that is required to perform assigned tasks. • Able to consistently lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs. • Ability to work outdoors year-round in inclement weather conditions such as extreme high/low temperatures, snow, and rain conditions. OTHER REQUIREMENTS • Requires a valid driver’s license. • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required. • May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays outside normal hours during peak seasons. LOCATION • Lucky Ladd Farms is centrally located in Eagleville, Tennessee. Just south of Nashville, 15-minutes from Franklin and Murfreesboro; 30-minutes from Shelbyville.
