Elite Offroad and Performance is looking to add to their winning team. Key Responsibilities: • Perform all repairs and services as needed • Participates in assembling and repairing Jeeps, Trucks and Suv's • Participates in the Repair and Upgrades of automobiles and trucks • Maintain accurate work records and procedures • Uses the computer based Equipment Management system to record work orders information. • Perform inspections of completed repairs to ensure thorough and quality of repair and suitability of vehicle for return to service • Continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work • Provide quality seamless customer service Minimum Requirements and Qualifications • Automotive equipment repair, maintenance and testing • Proficiency with Hunter alignment machine and tire machines • Lift 50 pounds or more • Perform broad range of automotive repairs and diagnoses • Experience with Mounting and Balancing Wheels and Tires is desired • Experience with performing alignments is desired • Experience with installing suspension components such as Independent Front Suspensions Suspension Lift Kits and a Straight Axle Suspension is desired • Experience with Gears and Drivetrain is desired. • Enter data to PC, or other keyboard devices • Methods, materials, equipment and operation of general automotive and mechanical repair shops • The characteristics and maintenance needs of a wide variety of automotive products & equipment • Work cooperatively with other company employees • General trades techniques, materials and practices of trades that are related to automotive and mechanical repair work • Safety practices and principles • Work safely without presenting a direct threat to incumbent or others • This is strenuous work environment requiring good corrected vision, hearing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching and lifting. Qualifications: · Must have own tools · Excellent verbal communication skills · Knowledge of tools and equipment being used to repair vehicles · Strong critical-thinking and troubleshooting skills · Previous experience as an auto mechanic a plus We are looking forward to hearing from you soon!
