Description

One-size fits all education is failing so many students, especially in this time of online learning. I’m a firm believer that the right instruction can have a life-changing impact on student outcomes. I’m a graduate of the University of Southern California, and have been honing my skills of one-on-one instruction for over six years. In that time, I’ve worked with TutorMe LA, Ashland Prep, PrepScholar, and TutorConnection. These companies will charge as much as $200 an hour for my time, depending on the subject and amount of hours purchased. By working with me directly you can get the same quality of instruction for far less. Perhaps most notably, I’ve had significant success helping neurodiverse students. I’m experienced with ADHD, Autism/Aspergers, Dyslexia, general cognitive disability, speech impediments, and head trauma induced mental disability. Whether you’re cramming for finals or looking to build a long-term relationship, you can be confident that working with me will help you or your child succeed. I’m based in central LA, and am available for in-person work and online--email or text me for a consultation. Best, Tre I’ve worked with students as young as 4 years old up through graduate level. I’ve taught the following subjects, and am able to learn niche subjects on the fly: SAT/ACT Math (Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics, Probability) Economics (both MicroEcon and MacroEcon) Finance Accounting Astronomy Logic Psychology Environmental Science Spanish (AP/IB and College-Level) English (Reading/Writing/Grammar) Chemistry Music Theory Client Testimonials: “When I think about the most impactful teachers of my life, it’s pretty much my third grade teacher, my sixth grade teacher, and you.” -- graduate student with dyslexia, studying Public Policy at the University of Southern California. “We have really been blessed to have you come into our lives when you did. It’s one thing to find a great tutor but quite another to find a great tutor that becomes an aspirational figure. My boys admire you tremendously. Thank you for all that you do & for who you are.” -- Christmas card from a mother of 3 students (elementary, middle, high school aged), two of which have ADHD. “I’ve tried so many other tutors, and none of them could break it down for me like you do.” -- Economics student with dyslexia and dyscalculia at the University of Southern California. “When I read the notes from your first session with him, I cried. No one else has really been able to get through to him... If anything ever happens to me and my husband, I want you to be in his life, to think of him like your little brother.” -- mother of high school student with Asperbergers and ADHD. “You’re the best math tutor I’ve ever had.” -- high school student, Beverly Hills High
