I have noticed MANY scam posts where they take the text that someone has posted and post it again. The only addition might be a request for you to provide your phone number. I engaged one once and it was clearly a scam. They insist, in broken English, that you click on a code to "verify yourself" to prove you're not a bot, which makes no sense. A bot wouldn't be able to validate the REPLY captcha already on CL. Bot messages are largely incoherent / don't address questions or messages. Do not engage further or click on these links. I assume the link will allow them to hack into your phone. And since my warning messages get flagged and removed if I only leave the scam warning, if anyone wants to talk adoptions, I am looking for an aquarium / terrarium based pet, as that's all I'm allowed in my condo.
