Description
Great opportunity to work outdoors with a professional local livestock operation and company. Individual will be responsible for assisting with managing job sites with livestock grazing and managing herds of livestock. This job will require 30-40 hours a week of work. Daily tasks will include weed whacking, building temporary electric fence, herding sheep and goats, loading sheep and goats in the trailer, carrying fence equipment, traveling with personnel or on their own to job sites located within San Luis Obispo County.
This person needs to be physically capable of hiking on steep terrain, carrying objects that are 50 pounds or less, working outside all day and working carefully around poison oak.
Characteristics that are necessary: good communication skills, professionalism on a job site, strong work ethic, common-sense, self directed, dependable and valid CA drivers license. Sense of humor and great attitude are bonus!
All training and equipment will be provided
