I play synths.... you?

i play synths--keyboard synths. i am looking to join with other musicians and esp. singers to form an original band that is mostly 'electronic'-- not just old school guitar rock. --but looking ahead. I want to also add that i dont play 'traditional piano' but use varied sounds. you could say 'electronica' but that term is very vague. I could say 'pop' too- but what does that mean? Basically I like to write and play songs with melody and a groove. mostly simple forms. To be quick about it--im not into jazz, blues, metal or country... but yes to rock energy, world-stuff, new wave, Euro, some EDM..... all sorts of other things are fine. [ just no cheesy guitar solos or metal chugging.] and not just odd atonal noises--but tuneful sounds ---[ unusual noises are still fun.-- but not to the point where no one cares to listen]. I also like both dance beats and ambience-- [ they can even coexist....] music that creates a 'space' and takes you somewhere. [Also harmony--i like harmonies....] while i can write and play rehearsed tunes--i can also improv. Improv is another fun thing --but isnt necessarily a 'song'. i currently jam with a couple people --but nothing is set-- Im always looking for more inspired players who want to work to form a group-- goals: --some gigs --recording --fun. while i like electronic instruments, im trying to keep away from strictly 100% programmed tunes-- but maybe hybrid stuff?? trying to keep a live vibe. anything with an interesting tone is good--and certainly singers are always welcome to check it out. Im not good at singing..... This band will evolve with the players. you can check out many of my ideas here on Soundcloud-- these are just live synth lines played to a drum machine-- NOT finished songs, just ideas. they cover a wide range of moods.
