As a Spray Foam Lead at Simplified Green Homes Inc. you are responsible for managing the spray foam truck and managing the jobs you have been assigned. Customer service and quality work are the most important things on every job, and every decision that is made while on a job site must first consider these important aspects. Responsibilities: • Know your job – understand where your job is, approximately how long the job should take, and what materials and tools will be required to complete the job. Review the paperwork the night before if possible, or as soon as you get in the office in the morning. • Know your truck – understand what is on the truck, keep a supply of all consumables that may be needed (masks, poly, staples, O-rings, repair tools, paint sprayer, paint Tyvek suits etc.) Check the supply levels of all these things and order whatever you may be running low on as soon as you see it. • Spray foam Equipment and Truck – you are responsible for the maintenance of the truck, check oil and fluid levels of the truck and generator, make sure you have every necessary repair kit, rebuild kit, and specialized tool on the rig and at your disposal whenever the need may arise. The truck should always be kept clean and neat (front and back). • Loading up – You are responsible to bring all tools and items needed to complete the job in a timely fashion. Check that paperwork and visually check that tools and items needed are loaded up. You are also responsible to bring every tool back to the shop. • Customer Service – The customer’s home is their castle, it should look exactly that way it looked before we arrived minus the beautiful spray foam that was installed. Proper precautions need to be taken to make sure spray areas are prepped properly so overspray will not get on anything that it’s not intended to get on. • Production – A Spray Foam Crew lead is expected to be able to get the jobs given to them done within a normal working day. Spraying a set in a day should be able to be reached in 95% of cases. The spray quality is expected to be among the industry leaders, and the quality of the foam itself is expected to A+ quality.
