Hello, I am looking for land to park my camper I live in on with my 3 dogs. Looking in the Gorham, Buxton, area down to South Portland area. I am not a people person and do not have parties or company. I do have a 15 year old son that stays with me on weekends. I do not need any utilities/water. Just looking for a homebase type place to park. It does run and drive and is registered. It needs tires, front ball joints, and a few other things I'd like to fix before I drive it everyday. I've been living off grid for over 4 years. I started in a bus and am now in a camper until I save for a newer bus. I work fulltime as a laborer/ pipelayer/operator at GSG for the past 3 years. My goal is to eventually buy some land in the area and build my own cabin and live off grid. I have a reference from someone that owned property and let me stay on it for over a year if needed. My dogs are never off leash and I clean up after them. The place I was at before was in the woods behind a farm. I walked through 2 fields to get there everyday throughout 2 winters and a summer. Hauled my firewood down in a sled through unplowed snow. I am a hardworking person that is self sufficient. I don't care if it is a spot way off in the woods as long as I can get my camper to it. That's actually a spot I would very much enjoy. I'd ask nothing of the person who would let me stay. If this is something your interested in doing, send me an email with any questions please!
