Description

We fabricate and install GRANITE, SOLID SURFACE & CULTURED MARBLE kitchen and bathroom countertops and shower pans, shower walls, custom bathtubs, fire places and barbeques for RESIDENTIAL. We also install COMMERCIAL reception countertops, desks, bar tops, restrooms, etc. The Installation Helper is scheduled daily with a qualified Installer and assists him with installations providing labor skills and craftsmanship. This includes helping load/unload material and supplies onto/from the truck and onto/from the jobsite, assisting with the removal of existing countertops during a demolition, assisting with installing new countertops, backsplashes, shower pans, walls, etc., clean up during and after installation, and assists throughout the installation process. MUST BE: • Craftsman with recent work experience as an installation helper of similar trade preferred working on residential and commercial construction projects. • Able to FOLLOW THROUGH with INSTRUCTIONS given and work as a TEAM. • Willing to learn. • Able to work in a FAST PACE capacity and produce QUALITY work. • Committed to providing quality customer service. • RELIABLE and accountable. • Experienced using all HAND AND POWER TOOLS necessary to install our products, such as caulking guns, skill saws, routers, drills, etc. • Able to meet the PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Labor intensive including but not limited to: daily lifting, carrying and maneuvering of heavy and/or awkward sized material; walking; standing; bending; stooping; use of hand and power tools using hand/arm movements; wearing all applicable safety gear during entire installation operations; driving a company vehicle. • Able and willing to comply with all CDC and Company COVID-19 Safety Policies. • Communicate verbally and in writing in English language • Valid CA Driver’s License AND clean driving record A MUST • Clean criminal background A MUST (REQUIRED clearance to access jobsites and residential home improvement contracts) ABOUT THIS POSITION: • Full-time, non-exempt, direct hire. • Monday through Friday. Shift START time varies usually between 5:00 am and 6:30 am and shift END time depends upon completion of the scheduled jobs. Some night jobs may be required. Some out of town (Southern CA) jobs may be required. • Daily Overtime is required. • This position requires reporting daily to main offices in Santee and traveling throughout surrounding counties: San Diego County, Imperial, Riverside, Orange, San Bernardino and LA. • Compensation depends upon qualifications but ranges from $14 to $17 per hour (DOE). • Opportunity to earn Prevailing Wage • Benefits offered when eligible: Health insurance (medical, dental, life insurance, AFLAC, FSA,), holiday, sick, vacation, 401K • Pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and a pre-employment physical required. • I-9 verification through E-Verify (Homeland Security / Social Security Administration) required.
