Some characteristics I've noticed in certain Craig's List ads that make the ad a possible scam: - if it looks like a stock photo it probably is - the puppy is often (not always) labeled as 10 weeks old - many ads have come up lately with "bird cage" and various purebred or mixed breed dogs in the titles - titles and text often (not always) contain odd jumbles of capital and lowercase letters and symbols
