I've posted this before so just trying to see if there are new folks looking through the community life on craigslist :) HELLO! I'm a female vocalist singer/songwriter in my early 30s with interests in Jazz, Soul, Hip Hop, Rock, you name it - I'm there. I'm working with a pretty solid guitarist recently and it would be nice to see who else is out there who could work with us? I play piano decently enough, some guitar, some flute, and can typically pick up new instruments quickly. I've written about 30 tracks on my own and am comfortable using GarageBand as a DAW. Very comfortable with music theory, scales, compositions, and super eager to collaborate with folks. I'm looking to find other musicians out there interested in collaborating on a new project.. Ideally a lot of Soul/ Hip Hop / Jazz influence, with a focus around female singer/songwriting a plus. Fiona Apple meets Amy Winehouse with a slice of Fleetwood Mac and Tina Turner, mashed into something danceable, bluesy, soulful, good. Would like to pursue original music, with the odd cover here and there. Looking to play local gigs here and there, but not touring or professional musician. Does this interest you?
