Hi,
I am a quadriplegic. I use a power wheelchair. I use a Hoyer lift to transfer in and out of bed.
I am looking for a personal care attendant (PCA) starting immediately. No experience needed. I will provide training.
Pay $15.75 per hr. ($16.10 starting July 1st)(Sorry the pay is not higher)
Weekend and weekday dinner and night shifts available.
• Dinner shifts are 2 to 2.5 hours. 4p.m. or 4:30p.m. – 6:30p.m. or 7p.m.
• Night shifts are 3 to 3.5 hours. 8:30p.m. or 9p.m. – 11:30p.m. or 12a.m.
• Some wiggle room in start and end time. Will discuss with people who come for interviews.
Dinner shift responsibilities include simple meal prep, assistance with simple exercises, light housekeeping, and if needed transfer to or from bed.
Night shift responsibilities include putting me in bed, assisting me with simple exercises, light housekeeping, simple meal prep etc.
Person must be reliable, honest with a Sense of Humor, and hopefully enjoy PCA work.
I am fully vaccinated but everyone who comes in the apartment wears a mask and gloves and uses hand sanitizer (provided by me). My goal is to keep you and me safe.

English as a second language speakers are welcome.
My apartment is near the Massachusetts Ave., Orange line T station and Symphony stop on Green line.
