Our Maintenance Technicians are an integral part of our team when it comes to resident satisfaction and keeping owner costs down. Highly skilled techs with a great attitude are critical to our success. We offer competitive wages as well as bonus programs to our Maintenance Technicians. You will be assigned a company van with a gas card. This position requires a lot of driving from property to property. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: Preventative Maintenance • Assists with preventative maintenance such as filter changes, clean ups, etc. • Assists in regular inspections of houses/apartments, plumbing, electric, common areas, and so forth. Corrective Maintenance • Respond to maintenance tickets quickly and professionally • Follow through with repairs until each ticket is completed and closed with appropriate before and after pictures. • Reporting all maintenance issues to the Property Manager assigned to the particular property in question. • Preparing houses and apartments for move in. Maintenance Technician Requirements: - Applicants must have a minimum of 3-5 years working in residential. - Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, general maintenance, and -HVAC. - Basic computer skills required for maintenance ticketing, workflow management, and time and attendance reporting. - Must also have a smartphone that takes really good pictures, as that will be needed for move out and routine inspections. - All candidates must have their own tools and their own van/truck. BMG will pay for routine oil changes, gas, and maintenance. - Must be able to keep a van organized, draft up invoices, and provide accurate estimates for jobs. - Previous safety training a plus!
