Click here: A Typical Workday May Include: â–¸ Extrude quality product in an efficient manner (checking product every 30 minutes, making necessary adjustments to run product to target) â–¸ Conduct quality in-process checks and document correctly â–¸ Inspect the product to guarantee all required quality standards are met. This would include correct shape, color, size and density â–¸ Adjust weigh belts as needed â–¸ Ensure proper topical ingredients are being used and applied at the specified rates â–¸ Set-up die plates and knife heads â–¸ Conduct efficient changeovers as specified to the production schedule â–¸ Minimize start-up and change-over times working as efficiently as possible â–¸ Communicate with batching control room operators â–¸ Dumping ration and fines carts â–¸ Keeping area and equipment clean â–¸ Sanitize equipment according to plan â–¸ Maintain equipment â–¸ Transfer responsibilities from shift to shift What You Will Need: â–¸ Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer. â–¸ Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility. â–¸ Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling and pounding with hammer â–¸ Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds â–¸ Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold â–¸ Ability to work in elevated areas â–¸ Must be able to operate machinery â–¸ Must be able to operate heavy equipment â–¸ Must be able to read/write English â–¸ High School diploma or Equivalent â–¸ Ability to work overtime â–¸ Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet.
