Foreman Position (This post is specifically for experienced roofers only. Please see other post for laborer/ground positions) Residential home improvement company looking to hire a full-time installer with potential to move to future foreman position responsible for overseeing & managing a small to medium sized crew in the Central Berkshire/Pittsfield area. Responsibilities: * Oversees day-to-day work habits of crew members & ensures tasks are being done in a safe, accurate & timely manner. * Maintains open-communication w/company owners; Updates as needed throughout work day & can expect to meet off-site once a week. * Manages crew timesheet & often initiates breaks * Supervise equipment use * Track and report progress * Ensure project specifications as set by company owners are followed * Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations Qualifications: * At least 5 yrs. experience installing all types of roofing (shingle, flat, torch-down etc.) * Knowledge in siding/gutter/window/door installation is a plus Criteria: * 18 yrs. old + * Drug-Free * Must be able to work as part of a fast-paced team, as well as independently. * Willingness to build-upon current knowledge of the trade. * Own basic hand tools * Reliable transportation to/from job site * Ability to withstand & work in the winter cold & summer heat- Proper attire is a MUST. employment type: full-time/ year-round compensation: Good pay based on experience. Opportunity for pay increase based on dependability/ performance.
