The Newport Restoration Foundation is hiring for part-time and full-time positions for the Grounds and Gardens Crew for maintenance of the grounds and facilities of Rough Point, Whitehorne House, Prescott Farm and preservation properties. Responsibilities include lawn mowing and maintenance, weeding, basic tree maintenance, spring and fall leaf clean up and other typical gardening tasks including but not limited to, planting, mulching, edging, watering and organically managing pests, diseases and invasives. Some general building maintenance and light carpentry may be required. Landscaping experience and proficiency with landscape equipment required. Hardscaping experience a plus. Seasonal position until December 31st. Hourly rate plus 401(k) contribution. Potential for year-round position with benefits.
