Plott Hound needs a new sweet home

Wonderful, great, Plott Hound is displaced due to separation and pending divorce. Being fostered at a friends house. Looking for a forever home and family that can provide a large fenced-in yard and plenty of attention. Preferably you will have had experience with large dogs.. This is a loyal scent hound who needs activity and room to run and play. He loves to follow scent trails and investigate. I can not give him the time and attention he needs. Loving family dog needs an alpha to follow, strong willed dog that needs guidance. 7yrs old neutered male, ran free in woods and on long leads in parks and fields. Walked on short leash in neighborhood. Needs daily activities but will curl up and sleep most of the day. Can be social with other similar sized animals but has not been socializing with small dogs or cats. Probably not a smart idea unsupervised. Was my best friend and needs a new sweet home.
