I am a Christian drummer / guitarist / songwriter in my late 30's. Based in the Tacoma area. I have been playing drums and guitar for over 25 years and have experience in the recording studio and playing live with various bands. I have my own drums, guitar gear and recording gear. My influences range from oldies (favorite band is the Beatles), to early to mid 90's rock such as Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains to heavier sounds of the Deftones. As far as modern Christian music, there unfortunately isn't much out there I enjoy with the exception of some early Leeland, Jars of Clay and Switchfoot, with a few other bands as well. Looking to find nearby Christian musicians to collaborate with to write original songs. Also open to playing some cover songs. Open to keeping it just for fun to start with - jamming and experimenting with song ideas but over time would like to record and possibly play live. I am glad to share some recordings I have been a part of if requested. I would appreciate if you could also share recordings of your work. Thank you.
