Are you lifeguard certified or will be by the end of May? Are you looking for a summer job? Look no further! We are currently accepting applications for Lifeguard positions in our Recreation Division. These positions may be scheduled indoors to lifeguard swim lessons and/or outdoors at Fairfax Pool. Duties include: supervision of swimming activities at aquatic facilities; ensuring policies and safety procedures are followed; conducting rescues and providing first aid as needed; and more! The ideal candidate must be certified in American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED by hire date. Interested in Lifeguarding, but not certified yet? Good news! ECPR is offering Lifeguard Training Courses on April 23rd-25th or April 30th – May 2nd. Go to www.eauclairewi.gov/pr for additional information and to register for the course. Typical work schedule: approximately 20-40 hours per week, hours vary Monday through Sunday (must work alternate weekends). Wage: $10.25 per hour.
