We are currently accepting applications for a Pool Facility Specialist position in our Recreation Division. This position is responsible for on-site operations at Fairfax Municipal Outdoor Pool. Duties include: supervision of employees and patrons; creation of work schedules, staff assignments, financial reports; coordinating pool operations and safety issues; and more! The ideal candidate must be certified in American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED, and will preferably be certified as a Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor (LGI), have previous experience supervising employees, and several years of experience as a lifeguard. Candidates must be available from May 15th through September 1st. Typical work schedule: approximately 40 hours per week, hours vary Monday through Sunday (must work alternate weekends).
