Landscape and Dock rebuilding $20/hr

Jobs

Brooks ST near Hood Ave, Fort Walton Beach FL

Description

I am hiring general laborer to help with landscape work and rebuilding my damaged dock at my residence. If you have some common sense (and a strong back) - you do not need any specific previous experience - although would certainly welcome that. Landscape work consists of weeding, grading, installing custom fencing (with guidance), installing artificial grass (with guidance), installing irrigation system (with guidance), installing sod, power washing home, planting bushes/trees, etc. This should be very steady full weekend work for a couple months - with a possibility of a monthly weekend workday thereafter for continued maintenance/smaller projects. Will also need 2-3 people to help rebuild my damaged dock. This will involve working in water 3-5 feet deep, operating a gas powered water pump, operating a chainsaw, using hoists/etc to remove damaged dock and dock pilings, and installing new pilings with assistance from a portable tripod crane, and doing framing (drilling/bolting/screwing dimensional lumber). This work will be noticed by several neighbors who have needs to repair their docks as well. Depending on the success of my dock rebuild and your further interest - there is potential for a partnership to form to use and expand my current dock rebuilding equipment to continue this type of business. There are probably 500 docks between Fort Walton Beach and Navarre that need rebuilding from the last hurricane, and only a dozen dock building companies in the region. You must have reliable transportation to southeast Fort Walton Beach - near Brooks St Bridge behind Publix market. Work will initially be weekend only (supervised) until reliability is determined (unsupervised). Pay will be $20/hr paid daily - with possibility to receive bonus for efficient work. Must have a healthy back - you will be using tools/devices to assist - to gain mechanical advantage - when possible but will still require considerable physical exertion - nothing heroic but this is definitely physical work.
