The Warehouse Associate is responsible for carrying out warehouse operations alongside the warehouse manager including: receiving and put away of materials, load and unload work trucks, cleaning and organization of warehouse, conduct inventory counts, and assisting warehouse in everyday needs. Responsibilities/Duties -Load company vehicles with ordered goods in a secure fashion -Have a working knowledge of all rules and regulations governing the safe operation of company issued equipment -Remain knowledgeable of warehouse fire protection system and procedures in case of fire -Understand inventory procedures in bay areas, sorts and places materials according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code -Record materials or items received or distributed and ensure accurate completion of all paperwork including material load sheets, work order, etc. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: -Ability to read, write and interpret written information -Ability to follow instructions and respond to requests for service and assistance -Ability to take responsibility for own actions, demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, ask for and offer help -Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and uphold organizational values -Ability to meet physical demands of the job with or without accommodation - Knowledge of standard warehouse procedures Requirements: -Drivers license -Bilingual English/Spanish a plus! -Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment(Willing to train!) -Provable organizational, problem-solving and leadership skills a must. -Team player with organizational skills and sense of urgency.
