United Zion Retirement Community Housekeeper Full-time, day shift Position-Specific Responsibilities & Duties; Primary Essential Duties: Perform assigned day-to-day housekeeping functions. Assure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable and attractive manner. Operate a vacuum. Push a wet mop. Be able to dust. Assure that established infection control practices are maintained when performing housekeeping measures. Be able to move furniture. Wash windows. Report all hazardous conditions or equipment to Maintenance. Clean walls and ceilings. Assist with Laundry as needed. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Environmental Services. Position Qualifications: Education: High School graduate or equivalent with the ability to read, write and to follow written and oral directions. Must be 18 years of age or older.
