The carpenter will have skills and knowledge of carpentry, takes pride in their work and strives to achieve a high level of quality and job site safety. Your job will involve working in changing outdoor weather conditions and the job location will vary. The carpenter will be someone with experience with framing and carpentry and will need experience conducting deck and fence installations. Safety is very important to us and so experience and knowledge of health and safety standards is an asset. The job responsibilities are: Conduct routine setup and cleaning of the job site to ensure the site is clean and free of hazards - Follow industry safety practices The work experience requirements are: - 3 years of experience working on a construction crew is an asset - Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and tools & equipment is required - The ability to use a large amount of hand, power operated tools and small engine equipment such as drills and circular saws is required - Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks on time is an asset - Ability to work at heights and on ladders is required. - Ability to work in changing outdoor weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, dust and humidity - Comply with all company policies and procedures and can understand and carry out written and verbal instructions - Ability and willingness to dig post holes and footings when necessary. Good work ethic and punctual - Steel toed work boots Other Job Requirements - Physically fit and able to lift up to 60 + lb. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $12.00 - $26.00 per hour
