Postal Carriers wanted for the transportation, sorting, and delivery of mail for the US Postal Service. Accomplished Carriers, LLC is a USPS Contract Delivery Service (CDS) provider looking for applicants for the contract term beginning June 1, 2021 until September 30, 2027 (renewable for additional 6 years’ term if desired). Applicants must be 18 years or older, clean driving record, clean drug test, and clean background check. Vehicle required is a newer SUV or Van or Pickup Truck with a camper shell that has a minimum of 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels. This position is designed for owner-operators with their own vehicle interested in contracting with the US Postal Service. Duties include but are not limited to: Sorting mail in delivery sequence for mailboxes. Loading mail and parcels in the delivery sequence into the delivery vehicle. Delivering mail to customer boxes along an assigned mile line-of-travel. Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items. Other administrative duties are required. Must have basic competence in speaking & understanding English Must have email address and access to internet Minimum Vehicle and Insurance Requirements: One (1) dependable SUV or Van or Pickup Truck with a camper shell that provides at least 120 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels. The applicant is responsible for all the vehicle maintenance and vehicle insurance costs are covered by the company. Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday Government Holidays observed. Estimated Hours:7:30 am - 2:30 pm (Hours will vary with the amount of mail each day and carrier efficiency) Qualifications: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license; able to lift 70 lbs. and work in winter conditions.
