Dog dumped by owner desperate for love

Description

I have a little girl around 2 years old who was dumped on a backroad late one night& after rescue the owner who dumped her spoke up about her & I learned she's pitbull/chihuahua mix,and was mostly a house dog. She looks like a really petite pit bull. She's friendly & happy. I am looking for an approved adopter for her. I've given her 1 8-in-1 vaccine & a deworming pill so far. I'm trying to get her microchip & other needs met but I can't hold her for long, I have alot on my plate & she's being provided for but so is an inmate, she needs attention and interaction more now than ever because coincidentally she's only 2 blocks from the human who dumped her and just lost the only life she knew. The girl who dumped her said she had her since she was a tiny baby... said this dog was an ESA.... because our shelter has changed and now pushes hard to be no-kill and have volunteers and fosters going above and beyond for the animals I will be probably sending her there if I cannot find an approved adopter or further room in rescue, I honestly feel she will love the playgrounds and the volunteers... she was terrified upon rescue& quickly learning that people are good. She is like a beagle sized pit, she's gaining weight, she really is a good dog, I'm heartbroken for her. Right now as it stands, her adoption fee is $50. As more goes into her care& vetting her fee will increase but fully vetted & chipped will not exceed $125. If you wish to adopt her fully vetted for the $125 it can be arranged or if you wish to adopt her through humane society at whatever their fees are please let me know. If there is a committed adopter who will adopt her from shelter same day I will surrender her to them. I'm not worried about spending money on her or trying to get money back. I just believe whoever deserves her won't mind covering her care and every dog I've given free has been found running stray by animal control, I can think of 8 dogs it happened to..so I don't give animals to anyone free anymore unless I know them& their history with animals or 8f they are a legit rescuer I know is nonprofit. I take care of 7 dogs& community full of feral cats myself otherwise I would love to keep this girl just because someone already betrayed her and I want to make sure it don't happen again but realistically I cannot give her what she deserves and she's adoptable. A few others I have who I'd like homes for are special & I don't trust other people to accept their issues & not punish them or be harsh on them. This girl would be excellent for someone who walks a lot or jogs I think... she likes to put herself in an indoor kennel so she would even be ok for an apartment as long as she was taken out. Her first 2 days here she was in a cage and never had 1 accident and it was a huge cage with pads so the invite to go in the cage was there... to adopt her all current pets must be fully vetted in compliance with the city ordinance, if she is not spayed by the time of adoption there is a time limit that it must be done. She will not live the chain-life... I'm already reduced to putting her on a tie-out due to lack of space and it sickens me but I'm afraid putting her in the back with my 4 back there may overwhelm her so I haven't tried yet. She's been around my poodle mix and a puppy she was dumped with and I was told there were 5 other dogs at the home so she's good with other dogs. In my house she didn't care about cats, tied out she kind of runs and jumps at them. More observation is needed before I can say how she is, when I try her out I want to make sure I'm 100% physically and mentally because I can't risk anyone getting hurt. If you feel you deserve this great dog and don't mind a small fee that can also be given in equal value pet food donations or other things needed to provide for rescue animals please contact me by text to get started. I will not respond to code requests or text app numbers. I stay really busy so please be patient for response. I go hours away from my phone busy trying to keep up. Please specify in text that you are interested in the chi/pit mix.. also please do not ask me to send more pictures. Feel free to come meet her in person. There is no pressure to adopt. I want the next home to be the last and the best thing to ever happen to her... you may come take pictures if you'd like & put thought into her. I just don't have time to take& send a bunch of pictures. I'm a smaller person than the average with 10× the responsibility and only have time for legit &serious dealings.
