Currently seeking a male and female drug testing technician in Moscow, Idaho. This position requires the collectors to observe and collect urinalysis tests of Latah County Drug Court and Mental Health Court participants. The shifts are 7:00am-8:00am 3-4 times per week at $17 per hour. At the end of each month the male and female collector will select their shifts together for the following month, which offers some flexibility. This is a position that will look great on a resume for someone interested in criminal justice, sociology, psychology, substance abuse counseling, and social work. Or interested in some extra cash. Job Duties: Directly observe selected participants providing a urine specimen for drug testing. Ensure no adulteration and/or tampering of sample. Understand the legal requirements of the position to include the possibility of testifying in a court of law. Follow the directions of management Document collection procedures as instructed Mail specimens in packaging provided immediately after shift is completed Qualifications: 18 years or older Customer service skills History of positive work ethic Flexible schedule Computer proficiency Ability to communicate effectively with others both orally and in writing Pass a background check- having a criminal history will not automatically disqualify you Criminal history disqualifications include but are not limited to: dishonesty, fraud or recent drug abuse (including use, possession or distribution) Attention to detail in reviewing documents and observing collections Position may be subject to random drug testing Typical Shift Looks Like: Show up around 6:50am Check computer for who is coming in to provide a sample that morning Print labels, observe and bag collections Typically there are 15 collections for the day including male and female populations Once all collections are done or it is 8am, collector will bag the sample in a fedex bag and place into a drop box **Any applicants must provide three references**
