O's Pipes and Tobacco at 8300 E. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80220 is looking to hire one or two full time positions (40 hours/week). At this time we are primarily looking for someone for some mornings (Hours between 5am-3pm) and afternoons (hours between 1pm-11pm). These times can be adjusted as needed as the people we currently have are pretty flexible. Duties and responsibilities include: 1. Assisting customers with purchases and running the cash register. 2. Ensuring the store is cleaned and stocked when it's not busy on your shift. 3. Upsell and cross-sell related products, ensure the customer gets exactly what they're looking for 4. Assist the store manager with any ongoing projects if needed. At this time we have the store set up to minimize interactions with customers and we are conducting most purchases through our take-out window to ensure employee safety. Customers that are purchasing larger amounts or who clearly want to shop around may be invited inside at the employee's discretion provided they wear a mask. Masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and more than enough cleaning supplies are also provided as we move through this pandemic. The most important aspect to this job however, is your work ethic, reliability, and trustworthiness. We are looking for someone that has some experience in a retail or warehouse setting and is comfortable providing customer service to customers that can get difficult and challenging at times. The ideal person is self-motivated and knows how to stay busy even when not helping customers. We would rather not have to micro-manage employees and are looking for someone that's mature and understands how to work.
