Description

Florida based company seeks a Substation Certified Mobile Crane Operator for the Daytona and North Florida areas. The best candidates will be located north of Orlando between Ocala and Daytona or north FL areas. This position will involve some traveling within Florida. The work week is typically five 10 hour days but during slower times it is 4 ten hour days. At times (maybe four times per year but could be more or less) weekend work is required. Emergency response is required which, on average, could be once or twice per year. The position requires the following: 1) Safely operate a Broderson IC-200 crane inside energized high voltage substations. 2)Driving the semi truck and trailer with the crane loaded on the trailer. 3) Safely load and unload the crane at various locations. 4) A CDL class A license with a clean driving record which must be maintained. 5) NCCCO mobile crane certification. 6) At least two years experience as a NCCCO certified crane operator. The crane will be moved by a contractor as of now and will be staged on various job sites. You will be required to support the move to each location and help to make sure the crane is moved safely. You will be required to have your own transportation to each site the crane may be at. Job sites could be north, west, and south Florida requiring out of town work. Travel reimbursement is offered.
