Job Location: Forest Grove, Oregon Job Summary: The objective of Entry Level Operator is to assist the Shift Manager and Lead with the production and manufacture of product for retail sale. The Entry Level Operator will act as part of the team to achieve production goals. Job Responsibilities: · Work safely in every case and promote safety at every interaction with associates · Operate as part of a team and perform assigned duties in Production · Able to grasp and understand the processes of production · Demonstrate strong communication with the Production Supervisor, Lead, and other team members · Follow the company policies and procedures pertaining to the production team · Follow all plant SOPs, SSOPs, in accordance with HACCP and food safety · Follow all plant GMPs · Follow all plant safety procedures · Work on the production line at startup, shutdown, and changeover of all the Production Departments · Lead by setting a good example (role model) · Assist with problem solving and fostering teamwork · Work on developing better procedures and methods to improve safety, quality, and costs · Report for work on all assigned workdays and report on time with a 98% positive attendance record · Other tasks as assigned Requirements: - Knowledge of the Area Equipment and know how to troubleshoot common problems - Good mathematical ability - Solid communication skills - Willingness to work as part of a team - Demonstrate initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness - Flexible to work in other areas as assigned - Observe all company policies - Complete tasks and assignments in a timely manner Environment: - Able to lift up to 50 pounds - Able to work in extreme cold temperatures - Able to bend, twist, push and pull - Stands on concrete floors for long hours
