Part-time Custodian

The Custodian is responsible for cleaning approximately 3000 Square Foot Facility, maintain healthy environment. Primary Responsibilities: -Sweep and mop floors. -Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces. -Clean and disinfect laboratory equipment. -Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces. -Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean. -Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants. -Stocking supplies as necessary -Complete special cleaning projects as needed -Other duties as assigned Requirements: -Must be at least 21 years of age and must be able to pass a comprehensive background check. -Part-time work on weekend and possibly a few early morning hours during the week. Approx. 20 hrs per week, but could lead to more -Dependable with a strong work ethic -Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 40 lbs. (up to 125 lbs. with assistance), may include walking or standing for entire shift as well as stooping, bending over, pushing / pulling, climbing, crawling, twisting, and / or crouching. -Must be able to communicate verbally and written in English -Competent problem solver and decision maker -Must be within a commutable distance to our Vancouver, WA location. -Must be able to legally work in the United States Education: -Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent is required. Experience: -1 year janitorial experience preferred.
