We are adding a Project Superintendent to our growing team. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site with the ability to determine and address any risk areas to maintain the safety of workers. This candidate should also be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties and be able to establish a timeline for completion. This position requires the ability to: • Read and understand plans and specifications • Generate and adhere to the construction schedule • Inspect the site continuously for progress and compliance with safety and project requirements • Maintain quality control Responsibilities • Meet with clients to clarify specific requirements of each project • Communicate project progress with clients and project managers • Manage subcontractors and construction site organization • Oversee the daily operation of construction projects • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long term goals • Preparation of project schedules with the Project Manager, paying attention to the sequence of work and delivery of critical path items • Review project plans and specs while providing insight on design, scheduling, cost-saving measures and identify potential construction problems • Conduct coordination meeting with all subs, owners, architects, and consultants • Monitor, coordinate and review RFI logs, submittal logs, shop drawings, and change orders • Expedite all shop drawings and approvals and coordinate with the team for proper job hand-off meetings • Closely monitor and maintain construction schedule weekly • Raise and discuss relevant issues at the job site/ pre-con meeting. Provide feedback to the teams & crews as necessary • Mentor, train, and guide all field associates • Collaborate with other Superintendents and Project Managers to ensure cohesiveness and uniformity is maintained across all of our projects • Ensure site safety and all compliance is met with OSHA regulations as it pertains to the scope of work/contract Qualifications • Commercial construction experience preferred • Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation with a clean driving record • Strong project management and communications skills (both verbal and written) • Ability to read construction documents • Familiarity with regulatory construction standards • Be a team player • Pay attention to detail and stay organized Our Company Core Values Above & Beyond * Professionalism * Continuous Improvement * Critical Thinking While we appreciate all applicants, only serious candidates with resumes and proven work experience will be considered. *Updated 4/15/2021
